Day 6

A very long and slow train ride from Belgrad to Sofia. The two cities are about 450 km apart, but it takes about 10 hrs by train. On top of this, the train was delayed by two hours. There were numerous tickets controls and passport checks. There was no wifi or at least an electrical …

Day 5 Belgrad

The highlight of Belgrad’s life today was the Military Academy Graduation ceremony. Proud, enthusiastic people were coming early to get the best spots. When the female military choir performed national anthem some people were wiping away tears.  

Day 4

Good bye Budapest! I have seen so many interesting things and met interesting people. I have so many more things to see and probably more interesting people to meet. I shall return! The apartment was great My “cage” The courtyard Now relaxing in a Eurail Lounge awaiting my train to Sofia
